Land Rover Part Number: STC434 - Engine Mounting - Rubber - 3.5 V8 Twin Carb
STC434 is a rubber engine mounting fitted to engine and transmission mountings on 3.5 Twin Carb V8 models. It dampens vibration and supports the weight and torque reactions of the 3.5 Twin Carb V8 engine and associated transmission by isolating engine and gearbox movement from the chassis while transmitting required loads through the mounting metalwork, reducing noise and harshness into the bodyshell. On manual V8 installations the same rubber mounting design is used for both engine and transmission mountings; replacement units should match the original geometry and material to avoid increased vibration, driveline misalignment or premature wear of adjacent components.
