STC4849 is a Heater Control Assembly for left-hand drive Defender vehicles. Fitted to the dashboard, this assembly provides the user interface for selecting cabin temperature and air distribution and transmits those selections to the heater unit and associated actuators. Where a control is worn, damaged or non-functioning, replacing the assembly restores direct manual control of the heating functions.
This assembly replaces part number UTP1125. The control knob for this assembly is part number MTC2805.
