STC488 is a viscous engine coolant pump for 3.5 Twin Carb V8 engines fitted with air conditioning. Fitted to the front of the engine and driven through a viscous coupling, this pump circulates coolant through the block and head waterways, thermostat, radiator and heater matrix, and modulates driven speed to match cooling demand under varying engine loads.
