STC543 is a left-hand front door assembly for Land Rover Defender body applications. Supplied with a cut-out for a lift-up external handle and formed to accept a manual (wind-up) window regulator, the assembly includes the outer skin, hinge mounting points to accept body hinge pins and internal apertures and attachment locations for trim, seals and window channels. Weatherseal seating surfaces are incorporated around the window aperture to help reduce water ingress. STC543 is used where a full door replacement is required rather than replacing only the skin or internal components; on installation the door aligns to the body at the hinge pivots and latch striker, with final adjustment made via the hinge and striker positions.
