STC575 is a 12V windscreen washer pump used on Defender models fitted with headlamp washers. Installed in or adjacent to the washer-fluid reservoir, the electric motor and impeller pressurise fluid and deliver it through the washer hoses to the windscreen and headlamp jets (on vehicles that use a single remote pump for both circuits).
