Land Rover Part Number: STC635 - Water Pump - 2.5L Petrol and 2.5L Diesel Turbo
STC635 is a water pump for 2.5L Land Rover engines. Fitted to the engine cooling system on Defender 2.5L vehicles with air conditioning, the pump circulates coolant through the engine block and cylinder head to manage operating temperature. The pump is driven from the front of the engine and moves fluid through the water jackets, radiator and heater circuit; it replaces the rotating impeller and seal assembly, and is supplied with a gasket to assist installation. Worn seals or damaged impellers will reduce flow and can lead to overheating, so compare the pump to the existing unit and check the compatibility data below against your V.I.N. where required.
