STC637 is a water pump for engine coolant, non-viscous, specified for Defender models fitted without air conditioning. It circulates coolant for 2.5 petrol and 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel Defender models, moving fluid through the engine, heater core and radiator to manage operating temperature. The impeller is driven from the front accessory drive and the pump is supplied with a mating gasket to seal the housing flange during installation.
