STC8609 is a rear coil spring seat that mounts to the chassis and locates the lower end of the rear coil spring. This lower spring seat positions the coil spring against the chassis outrigger, transmitting vertical spring loads into the chassis and maintaining correct seating and alignment of the spring under load. The unit is non-handed and can be fitted to either the left or right side; replace the seat if the original shows corrosion, cracking, deformation or if spring seating becomes unstable.
