STC865 is the master lighting and indicator switch for the steering column. Fitted as the combined indicator stalk and lighting master switch on applicable Discovery 1 models within the specified VIN range, it allows the driver to operate left/right indicators, select parking or dipped beam lighting and apply headlamp dip where fitted. The opposing wash-wipe stalk is STC866. This steering-column electrical switch assembly mounts to the steering column and connects into the vehicle's body electrics and steering-column wiring harness.
