TAR100010 is an Intermediate Reduction Drive (IRD) oil cooler plate fitted to the IRD transfer box on Freelander 1 vehicles, excluding the 2.5 KV6. The plate provides a heat-exchange surface to lower operating oil temperature, which reduces thermal stress on seals and bearings and helps maintain lubricant performance under sustained or heavy-duty use.
