TIJ000012 is a front propshaft coupling. This donut-style rubber yoke joins the front propshaft to the front axle drive assembly, transmitting drive torque while accommodating small angular and axial movement. The rubber element is bonded to internal metal hubs which transmit torque while isolating driveline vibration and accepting slight misalignment between the transmission/transfer box output flange and the front propshaft flange. The coupling absorbs shock loads that would otherwise transfer directly into the driveline; where access permits, inspect for cracking, hardening or flange wear as deterioration will increase vibration and noise.
