TVF100000 is a propshaft universal joint for the front and rear propeller shafts on 4-cylinder Freelander 1 models. Fitted to the front and rear propshaft assemblies, it transmits torque between driveline sections while permitting angular movement as the suspension articulates; this helps reduce driveline vibration and maintain smooth power transfer from the gearbox to the final drive. Regular inspection for wear, corrosion or play is advisable where access allows - excessive movement, noise or grease leakage indicates the joint requires replacement to avoid premature wear to splines and flange interfaces. Please note: Not for use on the 2.5 Kv6 engine.
