UKC31L is a 1st and 2nd gear synchroniser spring for the LT77 five-speed gearbox. Fitted to the gearbox mainshaft, it locates within the 1st/2nd synchroniser assembly and provides the spring preload required to allow the synchroniser parts to match gear speeds and permit smooth engagement of 1st and 2nd gears.
