VPLAT0137 is a tow bar wiring harness that provides the vehicle-side electrical interface for towing electrics on Land Rover Discovery models specified for North American markets. It connects the vehicle's rear lighting and signalling circuits to a tow bar socket so that indicators, brake lights and tail lamps operate when towing. The harness locates so connectors and cabling route from the rear lighting circuits to the tow bar mounting area and includes protective sheathing where required to resist road debris and movement. The part is intended as the electrical link between the vehicle wiring loom and a tow socket assembly; final compatibility depends on the vehicle's wiring and any aftermarket lighting boards or LED lamp kits fitted to a trailer or caravan.
