VPLGP0248 is a left-side mounting bracket with an electric motor for the power-deployable side step. Fitted beneath the vehicle body, the assembly secures to the vehicle mounting points and couples to the step tube; the motor converts electrical input into controlled extension and stow of the left-hand step, and returns the step to the stowed position when the door is closed or the system is disabled. The unit is specific to power-deployable side step installations and is supplied for left-side fitment only; the vehicle body mounting interfaces and the electrical connector must match the vehicle wiring and accessory installation for correct operation.
