VPLGP0421 is a deployable side step drive motor for the left side. Fitted as the motor component of the left-side mounting bracket assembly on long-wheelbase Range Rover L405 models, this unit provides the mechanical drive to extend and retract the power deployable side-step on command from the vehicle control system. A correctly functioning drive motor ensures consistent movement and alignment of the step; if the motor fails the step may not deploy or stow correctly and can be left in a fixed position.
Please note: For long-wheelbase models only; 17MY onwards. Applicable to TDV6 and PHEV trims only. Fitting of side steps may affect the vehicle's off-road capability. Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
