VPLGT0204 is a Deployable Side Steps Electronic Control Unit - Body Control Module. Fitted to vehicles with powered side steps, this control unit manages extension and retraction in response to door status and other vehicle inputs, and interfaces with the vehicle body electrical systems to manage timing and movement sequencing.
Please note: Applicable to 17MY onwards in 5-seat configuration only; not applicable for PHEV or SVR models. Market applicability limited to UK, Europe, Russia and India. Also required where an electrically deployable tow bar is fitted to 5-seat vehicles; fitting of side steps may affect off-road capability.
