Land Rover Part Number: VPLRT0171 - Tow Bracket Kit
VPLRT0171 is a tow bracket kit for the detachable tow bar assembly on Discovery 5 (L462) models from 2017. Fitted to the vehicle rear subframe, the bracket provides the locating and load-bearing points for the removable tow bar tongue and locking mechanism and transfers vertical and horizontal loads into the vehicle structure during towing.
Please note: Applicable to pre 21MY Discovery 5. Towing capability varies by powertrain and tow nose weight depends on powertrain and wheels fitted. A tow eye cover must also be ordered when fitting a detachable tow bar. Not suitable for caravans, trailers or lighting boards fitted with rear-mounted LED lamp kits. Part price only.
