WGS500051 is a Fuel Pump Assembly - In Tank. Fitted inside the vehicle fuel tank, this module supplies pressurised fuel to the engine fuel rail and contains the sender unit used on the specified 4.0 V6 and 4.4 V8 petrol applications. The complete module combines the electric high-pressure pump and the fuel level sender and is designed to run submerged in the tank to reduce heat and noise while maintaining stable fuel pressure for the engine fuel rails. When replacement is required the complete module is fitted in place of the original using the vehicle's existing flange and electrical connections; access is via the fuel tank service opening or by removing the tank according to vehicle service procedures.
