YRC100350 is a Steering Wheel Rotary Clock Spring Coupling. Fitted to the steering column on vehicles equipped with a driver air bag, it provides continuous electrical connections to the driver air bag, horn and steering-wheel controls while allowing the wheel to rotate. The assembly uses a coiled ribbon conductor to link the fixed vehicle wiring to the rotating steering wheel contacts and installs between the steering column and the steering wheel connector. A damaged or worn coupling can interrupt air bag and control circuits and will require replacement to restore full electrical continuity to steering wheel components.
